If you know you have to go right back to work at 6 weeks, then I would recommend trying a bottle a few times within the first month. I waited until 6 weeks with my first son and he refused to take the bottle until he was 6 months old! But with my 2nd we started trying a bottle in the first month and he never had a problem taking the bottle or breast.
