While there are jobs in this world such as deep sea fishing or ice-road trucking that are more inherently dangerous, there is none as difficult and important as parenting. Being a mother can be fraught with anxiety and stress and, unlike many other walks of life, you don’t see the immediate “rewards” of your hard work.

The fact is that as a mother you are creating, raising, training and educating a human being, which on a social level is of utmost importance…and on a metaphysical level even more so.

Yes it is hard. But without mothers doing what they do, we wouldn’t be.
