<img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-10178 aligncenter" src="https://mommysbundle.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/babys-first-easter-basket-683x1024.jpg" alt="Baby's first Easter Basket!
Easter has always been one of my favorite holidays. Even as a kid, I remember the excitement each Spring when the flowers started to bloom and we would get to wear fancy Easter bonnets and dresses to church.

But one of the MOST exciting things about Easter as a kid was definitely the egg hunts and fun Easter goodies we would get in our baskets.

That’s why as a parent now, I am always looking for fun ways to decorate and fill up Easter baskets for my own kids. Even when it’s baby’s very first Easter!

To make baby’s first Easter just as exciting as for our older kids, I’m sharing some of the best and practical goodies parents can use to create that little basket. From cute Easter-theme gift ideas for babies to useful things mom or dad already have on their shopping list, so it’s not just wasteful spending on dollar-store toys.

Easter Basket Ideas for Baby

Snacks to put in baby’s basket

If your baby is over 6 months, snacks make an easy option for filling up those baskets. Of course most of us prefer to skip all those sugary sweets and chocolates that tend to fill older kids’ baskets. Because after all, these goodies are for baby ;). Below are a few candy-alternative snacks you may want to include:

Baby puffs

Baby yogurt melts

Baby crisps

Baby teething biscuits

Baby fruit bars

Baby fruit pouches

You can also fill baby’s Easter basket with some essential feeding supplies you already intend to stock up on like:

Spoons

Bowls

Sippy Cups

We like to choose BPA-free options whenever possible as these are safest for babies and little ones!

Easter toys for baby

For toys, teethers, board books and things that offer sensory exploration always make a great choice, below are some of our favorites.

Mini Sophie Teether

Carrot Teether

Easter Board book

Sensory ball

Sensory blocks

Easter eggs for baby

Bubbles

Easter basket goodies for baby

Then of course, what Easter basket is complete, without a few accessories babies can wear on the big day!

Easter sun hat

Easter bowtie for little boys

Easter headband for little girls

Easter onesie

Easter bib

Easter shoes

Most of the time, you’re already planning on getting these things to complement baby’s Easter clothes, so they aren’t an added expense and can just be an easy choice for filling up that basket.

More practical ways to fill a baby’s Easter basket

Finally, it’s always nice to add some of those everyday baby essentials that you will be sure to use at some point when changing or grooming baby. All of the below are quick and easy ideas!

Travel-size wipe case

Diaper wipes

Boogie wipes

Face wipes

Baby lotion

Aquaphor

Baby brush

Inside: Fun ways to decorate Easter eggs with toddlers and small children.

Spring is finally here and Easter is just around the corner! And I don’t know about your kids, but my son has been obsessed with eggs ever since those surprise kinder eggs hit YouTube. So I knew it was time to get on the egg bandwagon and start gathering up fun ways to decorate eggs with the kids for Easter.

There are so many ways to go about decorating eggs, but I wanted to go dye-free considering that decorating anything with toddlers or preschoolers is bound to get messy…(unless you have some of these to use!). I figure I’ll try to keep it simple, yet still fun this year.

Related: Cute Ideas for Baby’s First Easter Basket<img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-6579 size-full" title="Fun ways toddlers can decorate Easter eggs.
From play dough and finger paint to melted crayons and glitter this list is sure to get your kids excited about Easter!
