5 Things I Could Not Live Without Daily

I stumbled upon a great blogging prompt from Trisha at MomDot this week and thought I would take a stab.  The topic is “5 Things You Could Not Live Without.”  Now as she mentioned, the key is “things” and I have to keep reminding myself that, otherwise my Chili and puppies would clearly be on top :).

So without further ado, here are my top five:

5.  Chocolate

Whether it’s a brownie dessert or a one of those Elf Fudge cream-filled cookies, chocolate offers that perfect pick-me up needed after a long day of looking after the little one.  If I don’t have my chocolate fill, I can get a little cranky ;)!

4.  Hair Clips

With little time to look pretty while caring for baby, the hair clip is the one thing that allows me to hide a mess of a hairdo and feel a little normal.

3.  Hell’s Kitchen TV Show

Watching a bunch of aspiring chefs compete under fire, while Gordon Ramsey screams at the top of his lungs is just what I need at the end of the day to unwind!

2.  My Air Conditioner

It’s been THE hottest summer in history.  I have a newborn.  Enough said!

1.  Water

My number 1 pick!!! But no surprise here because as a nursing mother I’m suppose to drink AT LEAST 8 glasses. This one is clearly one thing I could not live without!

What five things could you NOT live without?!

I know it’s tough…I like to do just a little bit at a time to not over-indulge 😉

I enjoyed your list and have to agree particularly about the air conditioning as it is the first thing you realize you really need if you don’t have it.

I have never watched Hell’s Kitchen, the commercials for it seem so over the top! I will have to try it soon.
