152shares

Looking for Christmas activities to do with the family this year? Think simple, cozy fun like our top Christmas movies for kids!

Sitting down to a classic Christmas movie with festive popcorn, hot cocoa, and peppermint snacks is a favorite tradition of ours the whole family enjoys. But sometimes, it’s tough to find Christmas movies to keep the attention of everyone in the family, young to old when we have these distractions.

But with a little digging, you’ll find classic Christmas movies for kids and adults that have a mix of fun, excitement, and a beautiful message for all to understand.

Besides, it’s hard not to get in the holiday spirit when you follow stories that bring warm feelings of hope and joy. It’ll have you longing for Christmas every day of the year!

This Christmas movie list includes my top picks that the whole family can enjoy. You’ll find Christmas movies kids can watch alone, kids can watch with parents and a few that parents can watch when the kiddos are tucked in bed.

So get ready to sit back with some hot chocolate or eggnog, curled up under a warm blanket while watching some of these classic and newer Christmas films, sure to get you ready for the big day!

I adore Love Actually. And The Holiday. Those are good Christmas “date night” movies when the kids go to bed. When that guy holds up the signs for Juliet (Kiera Knightly)… OH MY GOSH! I love it!
