Easy Stocking Stuffer Ideas for a Baby or Toddler

206shares

If you’re looking for fun last-minute stocking stuffer ideas for the kids, remember that simple, small and practical is usually key. Stocking stuffers are an added bonus for kids during Christmas.

They are like mini-gifts meant to add even more excitement to the holiday. For this reason, you should look for stocking fillers that are bonus items that they can use throughout the season…and little extras to keep them occupied while cleaning up all that wrapping paper.

Below are easy stocking stuffer ideas that work well for babies and toddlers!

Teethers

MAM teetherWhat gift could be better for babies? Provide some comfort to those swollen gums with a teether that doubles as a toy like the Bite & Play Teether from MAM. Our 8 month-old loves chewing on the various surface structures of this BPA-free teether! This teether is designed for all-stages of teething with the special semi-circular water element shape to easily reach molars! The curve in the center also makes it easy for little hands to grasp.

I really appreciated how this teether relieved some discomfort, but also kept baby entertained with the ball-toy element. It’s become one of our baby’s favorite toys! I would highly recommend it to moms looking for an effective teether this holiday!

Coloring & Activity Books

Books always make a great gift. Small board books are a favorite in our house because they help tots practice reading skills, but are also a great alternative to paper pages that can be easily torn my little ones! You can also get the simple animal theme board books that include different textures which make a fun sensory experience for baby!

Coloring Books, Markers & Crayons

Let the kids explore their artistic side with a variety of tools to create some arts and crafts. Crayola offers a plethora of products to choose from, from standard crayons and mini markers to colored pencils, glitter pens and finger paints. These are perfect for toddlers!

Crayola-Color-Wonder-10-Count--pTRU1-11913575dtWe are loving their new Color Wonder line that lets kids create masterpieces without the mess too! So many kid-friendly options to choose from. Make sure you stock up on a few of your favorites!

Play-Doh

Give kids a classic way to create art with colorful Play-Doh! Little fingers love the soft squishy texture that can keep them entertained for hours.  Our toddler loves kneading, pounding and molding the Doh into all sorts of shapes and sizes. Such a great gift for the budding artist and sculptor :).

Small Toys

You can never go wrong with a couple more toys in the stockings. You’ll want to plan on a smaller size item, depending on the stocking size of course.  Small cars or animals are always a hit with my kids.

Some of our favorites include simple memory games, sensory balls, little people and animals.

We especially love the Little Tikes Press N’ Go Dog that is the perfect size for toddlers. Just one press on the top of the toy sends him zooming down the hall! Our kids get a kick out of this one. It’s super easy to play with and provides tons of laughter!press and go toy
