I have a confession to make.
I’ve been pretty exclusive to one brand of diapers for over a year now: Pampers. However, that may be about to change now that I’ve tried a new reliable diaper, Huggies Snug & Dry with SureFit technology.
The reason? These diapers have something called leak-lock protection, meant to last ALL through the night and keep those diaper explosions from happening! And that is MAJOR when you have one active toddler running around all over the place!
Ever since my little man’s been on the move, there’s no holding him back when it comes to exploring around the house. From pushing his way under the table and chasing doggies, to practicing yoga poses, my son is one active baby!
And because I know the occasional falls are bound to happen, I want to be sure there isn’t anything leaking from his diaper when he is twisting and turning about.
That’s why I was elated to find these particular Huggies diapers offer a new stretchy waistband (the SureFit design) for an all-around fit, along with some extra stopping guards to catch those leaks before they happen.
But for me, the real test of what a diaper can withstand comes after a long, restful (or restless) night. This is typically the time when my little guy manages to have some kind of a diaper…err…poop explosion. So to know that the Huggies design is MADE for up to 12 hours of leakage protection is what I like to hear!
The result? Yes! The SureFit technology is living up to all the hype: no leaky mess to clean up so far…so…so far, so good! This new design is making for one happy momma :)!

I used to be a pampers girl too. I switched because it is the only brand Costco sells but I have been really happy with them!
Ana says
Thanks for the comment Kimber! I am really happy with these Snug & Dry ones!
Cheryl says
I remember my mother in law had never used a disposable diaper and tho the diaper she took off my daughter was filled well and heavy she kept say “but it isn’t even wet to the touch.”
Ana says
Thanks for sharing Cheryl! Hope your little one didn’t get a rash after that!! I don’t know what I would do without disposables!!
NJ @ A Cookie Before Dinner says
I’m a cloth diaper girl myself, but we use disposables over night. With my son, we used target brand but these look very cool too! Little lady is coming any day and we might have to give these a try!
Ana says
Congrats on the news NJ! Definitely keep these diapers in mind for those long nights!
Joanna says
These sound great. Jack is in underwear now, but we will keep Huggies in mind for baby # 2. We used Pampers and then target brand when Jack got a little older, but I plan to shop around with the next one. Your review (along with their recent commercials highlighting the sure fit feature) convinces me that we should definitely try the Snug and Dry. Thanks, Ana!
Ana says
Thanks for stopping by Joanna!! Glad you enjoyed my review :)!
Amanda Hoffman says
my son had a blowout so bad he had poop all the way up his back it was horrible to clean up and had to put him in bath to make sure it was all off
Ana says
Uh oh, sorry to hear about that…sadly, I’m sure most of us have been there! This is why I love the SureFit design — really does have an all-around fit to keep that from happening!!
Wehaf says
We have very limited diaper experiences here, as we don’t have any kids yet. I’d like to win this for my sister.
Ana says
Good luck!! I think your sister would really like these, if she hasn’t tried them already.
Christine says
My boys are way past the diaper stages, and I do not miss the diaper explosions. I will definitely keep these huggies in mind for the upcoming baby showers I am atteding, and who knows, possibly baby #3. Great review Ana!
Ana says
Thanks for stopping by Christine! Definitely keep these in mind for the future 😉
Renee says
Thanks for the info, Ana! We’ll have to try these!
Ana says
Definitely give them a try Renee!
Hannah @Supermommy!...Or Not says
I’ve had 1-2 kids in diapers for the last 5 1/2 years and am expecting again. Any money I can save on diapers is a big deal! 🙂
Ana says
Congrats Hannah! Glad the coupon helped!
Zoe says
I love Huggies! I have tried pampers but I prefer huggies over pampers!
Ana says
I was always a Pampers fan, but for these, I am ready to make the switch!
Laura Jacobson says
Oh one of our funniest diaper stories was when we put a swim diaper on instead of a regular diaper…after dinner…we were wondering why he was soaked and the highchair was all wet….then we realized it was a swim diaper instead! UGH Had to laugh!
Vivian Sun says
I think my daughter had the scariest newborn bf poop blowouts on the changing table.. Spraying the furniture and carpets across the room!!
June Lisle says
I have a lot of experience changing all kind of diapers and blowouts even though I don’t have a child of my own yet. When I do, this will be one of the first brands I try.
Sara Floyd says
My daughter has had some bad blowouts! Sometimes it gets all the way up her back and down her legs!
Jennai says
The worst thing is when my son decides to remove his diaper….then has a yucky accident before I discover what he has done.
Carolsue says
I don’t have anything very exciting — just keeping the kid still for a couple minutes to change him is a major event at our house!
Vikki Billings says
When my kids were in diapers I used the cheapest brand, I have tried just about every brand. My granddaughter used Huggies and when my grandson was in diapers he wore Luvs
alaine says
I don’t really have any yet! I am due with my first in a couple weeks. I do know they are quite expensive. 🙂
Nicole D. says
I find that Huggies are one of the more reliable diaper brands, and their overnights diapers really work for 8 hours during the night.
Denise S says
Recently the dog ran off with a dirty one after it was taken off my grandson.
corrie says
i dont have any yet. i am due in oct with my first a little boy named austin.
Stephanie Larison says
We love huggies, we’ve tried other brands and they don’t fit as well, or they don’t have protection as good as huggies does.
JoAnn F. says
My daughter only uses Huggies for my grandson, that’s our diaper story.

Laurie Emerson says
I love using Huggies for my son. I have tried so many others but they never seem to fit or worse are never quite absorbent. When I tried the others, my son would give me a look as if to say aw mom..
Sherry Gibbs says
Lately my diaper experiences with my granddaughter haven’t been going so well. She is 1 and its summer and I will let her go around the house with just a diaper. Either her mom bought cheap ones or they just don’t fit but they continuously are coming off unless she has some sort of bottoms on.
Adrienne says
I’m past the diaper stage, and don’t miss that part at all! I did love Huggies for the boys though, and I have a confession: I still buy the Huggies wipes. I use them for everything!
