Best Shoes for Babies: pediped {Review & Giveaway}

Don’t you just love shopping for baby shoes? There’s just something about seeing adult style shoes in tiny sizes that gets me every time! Shoes are one of my favorite baby items to shop for! But it’s sometimes hard to make a case for buying those shoes when baby is still growing. Sure they’re cute, but are they comfortable and does baby really need them?

What we thought

We received a pair of pediped® shoes to review from the Originals® line – which are soft-soled, flexible infant shoes recommended by pediatricians and podiatrists because the shoe’s design closely mimics barefoot walking. Each Originals® shoe is leather lined with a slip resistant leather sole.

The shoes were more than just cute to look at, they were made from a very durable leather material on the exterior, yet lined with a soft fabric perfect for baby’s delicate skin.

I really loved how sturdy they felt compared to a number of other baby shoes we’ve tried — which is a plus when baby is pulling himself up every second he gets and learning to balance that weight on those soon-to-be-walking little feet.

The shoe style was also super hip and I loved the basic brown and blue colors that go with most of his athletic and casual baby wear! We got the shoes in a size 6-12 and they fit my 8 month perfectly!

The Originals® collection will retail for $35-$41 and is available in sizes newborn to 24 months. 

Fifteen new styles have been added this season. Highlights include Becky, a Mary Jane offered in on-trend corduroy and Jasper, an all leather sneaker style; bringing a little sparkle to the collection is the new Delaney.  New styles Jerome and Teddy are stylish and comfortable options.
