The holiday season is finally upon us! And first up is Thanksgiving: every food-lover’s dream holiday. It’s one of my family’s favorite. A time to give thanks for all we have, spend time together, and enjoy some delicious food.

But it’s not just a one-day event. The whole month is about teaching appreciation and thankfulness to our kids and of course eating lots of yummy desserts! So finding kid-friendly Thanksgiving desserts is always a must for moms of little ones — sure they’ll eat most sweets, but desserts that are tasty and fun to decorate are even better. Plus, the kids especially love it because oftentimes they can be involved in the baking.

As a sweet-lover myself, Thanksgiving dessert ideas are always on my mind. That’s why today I’ve gathered up some of the cutest recipes sure to please your toughest critics.

When my kids begged me to make some turkey treats, of course I went on a search for the perfect recipe. What I ended up finding is that there are lots of perfect Thanksgiving desserts for kids! I can get quite lost on Pinterest and spent a good amount of time trying to find the perfect recipe for them.

I did have to end up choosing just one, but I thought I would share my findings with you! I haven’t’ tried them all, but I thought I would give you the chance to try for yourself. There’s a great variety of treats here for you – everything from cookies to brownies to even some mini personal pies! You’re sure to find a recipe or two that you’re kids will just love.
